Titan arum (Amorphophallus titanum): It is known corpse flower, which has an incredibly foul smell of rotten flesh when in bloom. It has the largest unbranched inflorescence in the world. Titan arum is endemic to rainforests on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Because its flower blooms infrequently and only for a short period, it gives off a powerful scent to help attract pollinators quickly and effectively. It is endangered in the wild due to deforestation and land degradation.
